On the initiative and support of Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC an educational project Special Class, which is new for the Republic of Bashkortostan, is at work with success since 2006. The specialness of the project is intercommunication during students' training on the base of the long-term agreement between three parties: School #12, Salavat Branch of the Ufa State Petroleum Technical University and Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC.
Training in the special class is an excellent opportunity for gifted children with a technical habit of mind to study Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology thoroughly, carry out researches together with teacher from specialized departments of the university, get very good education and carve a career on one of the leading petrochemical enterprises of the country.
Students from the special class not only study a lot but travel also. Vacation planner is Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC. The students visited Orenburg and during excursion saw sites of the peasant war battles under the leadership of Yemelian Pugachev, they also supported the hockey club "Salavat Yulayev" in the Ufa Palace of Sport, during winter holidays they visited Saint-Petersburg.
Applicants for training in the special class are sorted out among students who finished the ninth class of any secondary school in Salavat and neighbour towns and districts. All the applicants are to pass the competitive selection: interviews with university teachers of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Information Technology, and a talk with a psychologist. Conditions of participation in the contest are the following: good certificate of secondary education, striving to get profound knowledge on technical science and a wish to make a future way with Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC.
