Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC (SNOS) starts detailed engineering of ELOU AVT-6 (CDU/VDU) Unit
Construction of this unit is among the company's top priority projects.
The main function of ELOU AVT-6 Unit consists in primary processing to produce light oil products and gasoil cuts: rich gas, gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, light vacuum gasoil, heavy vacuum gasoil, flux oil.
The new facility's design capacity equals 6,000,000 t/y.
Besides, it will provide for increased fractionation volumes and closer fractionation. The process technology and equipment will guarantee high-quality production of substantial volumes with minimum costs and loss of feedstock, materials, energy, and only insignificant environmental effects.
One of the project's objectives is decommissioning of obsolete and depreciated production facilities, namely AVT-1, AVT-3, AVT-4 , ELOU-2 and ELOU-5.
To date, basic engineering is completed and detailed engineering under way.
The former was performed by Chemieanlagenbau Chemnitz GmbH (CAC), a European engineering company and a long-time business partner of SNOS, the subcontracting designer being VNIPIneft Design Institute (Moscow).
Salavatgazoneftekhimproject (SGNKhP) Project Institute, an affiliate of SNOS, and NPK Kedr-89 LLC (Moscow) are responsible for detailed design engineering.
Project management is effected by the VDU-6 Project Office of Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC.
The start-up of CDU/VDU-6 is planned for 1Q 2012.
