The participants of the joint educational project maintained thesis with success and became Masters of French Institute of Petroleum (IFP)
The graduation was preceded by a two-year study on IFP - UGNTU Program where the best teachers of these educational organizations were engaged.
The educational project based on the cooperation between Ufa State Petroleum Technological University and French Institute of Petroleum was started in September 2007. Its specialness is that Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC appears as the mover of this program development and the only client at this day.
All the candidates for a master's degree of the 2nd session were awarded the qualification "Master of Engineering and Technology" UGNTU and "Master of Science in Refining and Petrochemistry" IFP Training.
- Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC has a large capex program: the construction of ELOU АVТ-6 new plant, further modernization of mineral fertilizers and refinery production. We are striving to make our enterprise the most up-to-date and profitable company. I hope, that with your help we will be able to give start to new processes and technologies development on the Company's basis, - emphasized Damir Shavaleev, Director General of Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC, addressing to the Masters.
Bernard Léry, Deputy Chief Executive Officer IFP, Director of International Affairs IFP, remarked the high standard of knowledge which the students demonstrated, and he voiced a hope that this knowledge will be applied for further development of the Company.
- - In the course of these two years the world was fully changed. There are two points behind this: the recession and search of ways for recovery. We are grateful to Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC that during this difficult period the Company did not abort its program. Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC promotes many projects and is needed in good specialists. This day the contract for the 3rd session of the course program has already been signed.
Twenty students of the 3rd session have passed the competitive selection, the main criteria of which were higher technical education, knowledge of the English language, high average mark in a general certificate of education, age under 30. New candidates for a master's degree will start their classes on 1 September 2010.
