The working meeting of Rustem Khamitov, the President of Bashkortostan Republic, and Damir Shavaleev, Director General of Salavatnefteorgsintez JSC (SNOS), was held. The parties discussed company results for the first half of 2010, the course of realization of company's investment program, interaction with petrochemical companies of the South of Bashkortostan and a number of other issues.
The main topic of discussion between Rustem Khamitov, the President of Bashkortostan Republic, and Damir Shavaleev, SNOS Director General, was the company's results for the first half of 2010. In the first half of 2010 SNOS group of companies obtained net profit amounting to RUB 2,6 bln.
During the meeting Damir Shavaleev also presented to Rustem Khamitov the information on company's investment program: construction of ELOU-AVT-6 desalter-crude and vacuum distillation unit with a throughput of 6 million tpa and urea granulation plant after Toyo Engineering process.
Separately a question of SNOS interaction with the petrochemical companies of the South of Bashkortostan was under discussion in the meeting (Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant JSC, Kauchuk JSC, Kaustik JSC).
The parties also discussed the realization of company's social policy in the region. The number of projects of public importance realized by SNOS increases year after year. This year the company joined the BRING CHILDHOOD BACK project destined to support educatees of orphan homes and children deprived of parental care. The project is realized in the Volga Federal District under the auspices of Grigory Rapota, envoy plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation.
